1. Data controller

This website and the StillPhone app are operated bySefa Öztürk, a sole trader established in Türkiye. Under Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") and the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), the data controller is Sefa Öztürk. You can reach the data controller athello@stillphone.com, and submit any statutory request to that address.

Paid plans are not sold by StillPhone but byPaddle.com Market Ltd (30 Old Bailey, London EC4M 7AU, United Kingdom) acting as Merchant of Record. Payment, invoicing and tax obligations are fulfilled by Paddle; your card details never reach us.

2. What data we collect

Contact details: the email address you provide when requesting a trial or during support correspondence.
Payment details: payments are processed through Paddle.com Market Ltd.; your card details never reach us — they are processed and stored on Paddle's secure infrastructure.
Device information: when set up on your phone, StillPhone knows the list of installed apps and the access list you chose, only as far as needed for it to work. This list stays on your phone.
Phone status (sent to our server): when your phone syncs with our server — so your licence works and so we can help you in support — it reports: a device identifier (and the serial number where Android provides one), brand, model, Android and StillPhone version; the settings you chose in the wizard (for example the waiting period, whether the web filter is on, how many apps have a time limit); whether Detox mode is active, how many days it has run, and when it was turned on or off. Our server also sees your phone's IP address when it connects. The list of your apps never leaves your phone.
Site usage statistics: we count, in aggregate, which pages are viewed and how often the download link is used.We use no cookies, write nothing to your browser and do not identify you across visits. These counts cannot be traced back to a person and are used only to see which explanations actually help.
Setup statistics (StillPhone Wizard): during setup, the wizard sends your phone's brand, model and Android version, and which setup step was reached or where it stopped. It sends no serial number, IMEI, account, app list or anything that identifies you. You can turn it off in the wizard's Settings ("Report setup problems anonymously"). Site and setup statistics are processed by Umami (servers in the EU), without cookies.

3. What we don't see

StillPhone does not access or see your messages, photos, location, call history, or the content of the apps on your phone. It only knows which apps are installed and the access list you set.

4. Why we collect data

The data we collect is used only to: run the trial/setup process, enable payment and billing, respond to support requests, and meet our legal obligations. We ask for your separate consent before sending any marketing email.

If you request a trial but don't finish setting it up, we may send one short reminder for each unfinished step (at most two in total, never after you pay or your trial starts). Reply “stop” and we won't send another.

5. Who we share data with

Your payment data is shared with Paddle.com Market Ltd. as the Merchant of Record running the sale. Otherwise, we do not sell your data to third parties or share it for marketing purposes.

6. Your rights

Under KVKK Article 11 (and, where applicable, the GDPR), you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, request information about it, learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly, know the third parties it is transferred to at home or abroad, request correction if it is incomplete or incorrect, request its erasure or destruction, and request that these actions be notified.
